How to get ALL Sujimon in the Sujidex Guide in Yakuza: Like A Dragon

Home»Game Guides»ALL Sujimon in Sujidex Location Guide

I’ll tell you how to complete the Sujidex by getting all the Sujimon. I have a video showing all the Sujimon locations and their item drops. There may be spoilers for boss names and location names. Remember, this game automatically completes the Sujidex when you defeat the enemies, you don’t need to “catch” them or use any item to scan them. See my video below for all enemy locations.

I completed it AFTER beating the game and can confirm that the Sujidex is NOT missable! Here are some steps to easily find all the Sujimon of the game:

  1. First, complete the main game story. You’ll fight all the main bosses as well as most enemy types of the game throughout. As well, the story makes you run across different parts of the map, might as well fight any enemies you run across to save some time.

  2. Do the optional dungeons and fight all enemies within them. BUT, there’s a catch, the dungeons have breakable walls that have unique enemies behind them. You need to unlock and switch to the Foreman job with Ichiban, when you do so you’ll get a game tip if you have them enabled, telling you that you can destroy walls now. To unlock the Foreman job for him, you need to have your Charisma character stat to be level 3 or more, to do so try going to the vocational school and completing some exams. You do not need to stay as the foreman job, but you need to switch to it and then switch back into your desired class, unlocking the foreman job is not enough you actually need to switch to it at least once.

  3. Once you’ve switched to the Foreman job at least once and back, you can properly do the optional dungeons, you unlock them as you progress the story of the game, make sure to fight all enemies in the dungeon and you’ll be good. These include: Yokohama Underground Dungeon (Ijincho Sewers), Sotenbori Arena (take a taxi to Sotenbori and look for 2 red swords on the map), Kamurocho Underground Dungeon (Kamurocho sewers), and the Millennium Tower (2 red swords on the Kamurocho map). Although you need to complete the Millennium Tower 3 times for another task or trophy, you only need to do it once for all Sujimon, you don’t get more unique enemies after doing it once, the enemies only level up on subsequent runs.

  4. Complete all substories in the game, you don’t actually have to do all of them, but many substories will have unique enemies and minibosses.

  5. Complete all SOS Part-Time Hero requests, the ones where a civilian is surrounding by enemies, there was maybe 20 of them or so, you don’t have to do any of the collection requests for Sujimon. As far as I know, I don’t believe they have unique enemies, you can encounter all of those kinds of enemies on the map, but doing them all will save you time from searching the maps for the enemies. They definitely don’t include all enemy types, but you might as well do them unless you can pinpoint exactly which Sujimon you’re missing.

  6. Complete all character bonding events to level 5. You don’t actually need to do them all, but some characters will have unique enemies only found from doing their bonding events, the final bonding event will have cutscenes and an enemy you fight.

  7. Mop up any enemies that are left! See my video below for all enemy locations.
  8. For the final Sujimon, return to the Sujimon Professor after getting all other Sujimon entries.
