We have a list of ALL Master Missions you need to complete for the Lover of Reverie trophy in Trails into Reverie and we’ll explain how to complete each of them. If you see any tasks NOT listed below, those are NOT required for the trophy!

  • Defeat 3 Guardians on the Second Stratum
  • Complete True Reverie Corridor – Third Stratum and conquer its master

Because why does the game say: 3 Guardians on 2nd Stratum, 4 Guardians on 2nd Stratum, and 5 Guardians on 4th Stratum. It’s missing the 3rd Stratum, so I think this one is for the 3rd stratum.)

So what’s the best way to do these tasks? First go through the game normally collecting everything such as all Treasure Chests, all Character Notes, all Battle Notes, all recipes, all fish species caught, etc. I have a walkthrough with all of these collectibles noted down. These are very much missable, so be very careful! Also make sure to fight at least 20 formidable foes with each protagonist, but for our playthrough we were pretty much able to get that naturally from completing the Battle Notes.

After you beat the story of the game, you’ll be transported to the True Reverie Corridor permanently, so make sure you do everything you need to do in the main area of the game (Zemuria) first!

After beating the game, you unlock the second half of the 4th Stratum. Complete it. You’ll have completed the previous floors as well. You should’ve defeated enough Guardians in the stratums, but if not you can keep resetting the floors and going through them again. You’ll unlock more stratums as well after completing the 4th stratum, you don’t need to do them for the trophy even though you get more Master Missions for them. I do recommend unlocking and exploring them though, they have higher level enemies and more treasure chests with extra recipes, extra books, trial keys etc, which are optional but you can use to count for the totals as well.

You need to use 9 Gold Sealing Stones, just go through all the floors of the stratums to collect them. You can reset the earlier levels to get them too, but I found it easier to just go through Stratums 5 and above to get more guaranteed gold orbs. For Silver Sealing Stones, you can just keep resetting and running through the easier stratum floors too.

Limiting Missions – Just read them and do them, they’re often just menial tasks to do such as doing certain attacks with certain combinations of characters, etc. You can reset them too to get new ones if you don’t like the ones you have.

Daydreams – So don’t be confused. The Memories count as daydreams, but other mini-games count as daydreams as well. I played Magical Girl Alisa, Project Tyrfing, did the beach, etc, and you’ll view 26 daydreams easily.

Trial Doors – Run through Stratums 1-4 to get the 10 Trial Door Keys, then go through the doors.

Void Spires – This can be annoying, you’ll need to find treasure chests surrounded by a barrier which transport you to a boss fight you fight with chosen party members. I did everything else in the meantime, there’s a lot of tasks that are grinding. You’ll need to keep resetting the True Reverie Corridor to find more void spires.

800 Battles – It’s just grindy, do this while doing other tasks.

200 Treasure Chests in True Reverie Corridor – Self-explanatory, just keep resetting and going through the dungeons.

Activate S-Craft 150 times – Grindy, just keep fighting and grinding and use the tree in the True Reverie Garden to heal your characters.

300 United Fronts – Randomly you’ll get these in fights, use them as much as possible.

Enhance weapons/armor – Just use U-materials to enhance your weapons/armor, do many cheap upgrades if you want.

Make weapons using Black Zemurian Ore – You get these ores from fighting powerful bosses in Zemuria, which you’ll do for 100% Battle Note completion anyways, but if you go above Stratum 5 you’ll eventually begin finding these ores in chests randomly, meaning you can make ultimate weapons for all of your characters.

Exchange armor – I just bought accessories and exchanged accessories at the shop.

Reach Level 150 or higher, Link Levels, Master Quartz – This becomes extremely easy if you keep going to the higher stratums. These games have a leveling system where if you fight enemies higher leveled you gain exponentially more experience. The enemies/bosses of Stratum 4 are barely 150, but if you keep going to Stratums 5,6, etc, you’ll encounter enemies that are level 200+ but are easy to defeat. If you go to higher stratums, you’ll very easily get the required link level and Master Quartz level too.

Lost arts – You’ll get these from going the memory daydreams in True Reverie Garden and for defeating certain mini-bosses in Zemuria (you’ll get them if you do 100% Battle Note), but if you keep going to Stratum 5 and beyond the game will even start giving you even more Lost Arts.

Acquire 2000 U-Material – Just keep grinding in the dungeon. If you keep going in post-game, you’ll even be able to eventually buy U-Material from the shops. You can also disassemble old equipment for U-material as well.

Learn cooking recipes, superb and peculiar recipes – You’ll get this from exploring in the main game and also from collecting recipes from treasure chests in the stratums. If you keep going through the further stratums you’ll find even more recipes. For Superb and Peculiar, you basically need to cook the recipes and you need a character who is good at cooking it, and bad at cooking it.

26 species of Fish – This really should be done in Zemuria to be safe, but the pool in the True Reverie Garden seems to have every fish in the game as well.

100% Books – You buy Books in shops in the game and you’ll find the rest randomly in treasure chests in the True Reverie Corridor Stratums 1-4.

100% Battle Notes – You need to Battle Scope every enemy and boss in the game, this is extremely missable. You also have to do this for enemies in Stratums 1-4. Enemies from Void Spires and Stratums 5+ and enemies from Daydreams do NOT count.

Pom! Pom! Party! – This is NOT missable, you can find all the opponents you need to defeat in True Reverie Garden. You can read my full guide on how to play this mini-game and win easily.

Vantage Masters – This is NOT missable, you can find all the opponents you need to defeat in True Reverie Garden. You can read my full guide on how to play this mini-game and win easily.

You all beach activities you can find more tickets from grinding and finding chests in the stratums and sometimes in the shop.

Watermelon splitting – Just keep practicing and learn the timings, it’s easy.

Banana Boast – Can be a little tricky but keep practicing, you can hit most of the targets no problem.

Special someone on a beach vacation – Just memorize the dialogue options to make all the women happy.
