The game progresses normally until you reach the hospital dungeon. You complete the hospital dungeon, then return to it again shortly after.
When you’re finishing the hospital dungeon for the second time, you will find Marie.
The choice that determines your game ending is whether you choose to save Marie or not.
Don’t save Marie – This leads to the bad ending. The bad ending still has 2 bosses for you to fight until you reach the credits, and you can save your game afterwards.
Save Marie – This leads to the good ending and you’ll be able to finish the rest of the game.
