Dokapon Kingdom Connect comes out on Nintendo Switch on May 9th

Dokapon Kingdom Connect, a remaster of the original Dokapon Kingdom, comes out on the Nintendo Switch on May 9th. The game is a fun combination of a board game and an RPG and can be played with up to 4 players in a variety of game modes.

Nintendo Switch Online is required for online play. The game also supports local play with up to 4 players.

More information on the game’s characters and game system can be found on the Idea Factory International website.

New features include an auto-save function to save your progress every week, if there is anyone in your party who disconnects it will automatically regroup the players into a new lobby to reassemble the party, as well as as automatically switching to a COM if one of the players in the party leaves.

The three modes of gameplay include a Story Mode (travel around the Dokapon Kingdom), Normal Mode (you choose how many weeks you want to play and whoever has the most money wins), and Battle Royale (you choose from races such as Town Race, Kill Race, and Shopping Race, where players race to liberate a town, defeats the other players a certain number of times, or whoever brings a specified item back to Dokapon Castle, respectively).

The trailer is shown below:

Dokapon Kingdom is a video game that combines elements of role-playing games and board games. In the game, players take on the role of adventurers who must travel through Dokapon, battling monsters, completing quests, and competing against each other to become the ruler of the kingdom. The game can be played by up to four players, and each player takes turns moving their character around the game board.

One of the unique features of Dokapon Kingdom is its combat system. When players encounter a monster or another player, they enter into a turn-based battle where they can choose from a variety of attacks and spells. The goal of the battle is to defeat the opponent and earn experience points, which can be used to level up and improve their character’s stats.

Another key feature of the game is its emphasis on strategy and tactics. Players must carefully plan their moves and consider the consequences of their actions, as decisions made early in the game can have a significant impact on the outcome.

Throughout the game, players can also earn money to buy and sell items. The player who accumulates the most wealth and power by the end of the game in multiplayer matches is declared the winner and becomes the new ruler of Dokapon Kingdom, though there are other game modes available as well for destroying other players or for retrieving items.
