- December is the endgame for the original Persona 5, but since you’re playing Persona 5 Royal, you’ll get a few extra months. Just read our schedule days as you go along, and watch out for endgame decisions.
- Since Persona 5 Royal keeps continuing, it’s actually NOT your last opportunity to go into Mementos, you will still be doing Mementos requests in January, so no worries if you can’t beat the reaper yet for a trophy. Do complete the Mementos requests themselves as shown in our schedule because the requests can be missed, but what I’m saying is you can still get treasure demons and beat the reaper later in Mementos if you want to.
- Make sure you abuse persona skills, the palaces are very long and the bosses aren’t hard, but they do test your endurance, such as on December 9, you’ll have a big palace with five minibosses and a big boss before the calling card is even sent.
- How to break the game quickly? Max out the Strength confidant, see December 9 below for our video guide, and make sure you have extra money.
- Basically you can fuse personas past your character level, so you can fuse some overpowered personas and start inheriting powerful skills. 100k is good to have, but if you have 500k you’re really good, if you grind like me and have millions you can keep fusing over and over and inheriting the most powerful skills. If you have a million or so, see the following paragraph on how to fuse a powerful endgame persona with unlimited SP.
- Invigorate 3 is a very useful skill to have, restores 8 SP each turn.
- Forbidden Knowledge is a trait, not skill, that reduces all magic SP cost by 75 %, you can get it from Lucifer I believe, then you can pass that trait onto any fused persona you like.
- Spell Master skill reduces all magic cost by half, and stacks with Forbidden Knowledge!
- Morning Star from Lucifer is a severe Almighty spell (enemies/bosses never have resistance to the Almighty element) and costs 54 SP per use, but that cuts down to 27 SP per use with Spell Master, then cut down to 7 SP with Forbidden Knowledge. But you can 8 SP per turn with Invigorate 3. No more worries about SP consumption in palaces!
- See Trung Do’s Persona 5 Royal Fusion Calculator on how you can get these skills, he doesn’t list where to get the traits from, but you can get Forbidden Knowledge from fusing Lucifier. You can keep fusing down then up again. Almighty Boost (25 % bonus to almighty skills) can be another useful skill and Almighty Amp (50 % bonus to almighty skills), but they’re only on DLC personas, BUT you can get it randomly from doing a “network fusion”, though you need to save and reload.

| 12/9 (Friday) | • Ask Chihaya for money fortune, fuse new personas, buy new equipment, etc. • Now’s a good time to finish the Strength confidant, you need to be level 51 for the final required fusion, which you should be. • Meeting the twins for events earlier got you many skill cards, allowing you to fuse the personas with the required skills very easily, but you can fuse personas without these skill cards too • The rank 10 Strength confidant is amazing, it allows you to fuse personas above your character level, but it costs money – so grind money by holding up enemies and you can fuse personas to make the rest of the game a breeze • You can get the fusion trophies too, we got Efficient Executioner trophy • Infiltrate Shido’s Palace in one day • Automatic Justice 8→10 | • Call Kawakami for massage, then call her again to invite her out, night pennant obtained • In bed, Joker thinks of Akechi, make sure to answer 2 (I want to keep our promise) |

| 12/24 (Saturday) | • Exam results • Forced into Mementos, then World of Qliphoth • Beat the reaper if possible to get a trophy (Unsurpassed Rebel), you can fight him by running around on the same floor for a few minutes, lower the difficulty if needed and fuse a persona immune to instant-death, I used Mother Harlot, just keep battling, eventually you’ll get showtimes and knock off most his health • During Mementos Palace, after you reach a safe room you can go to the first safe room and talk to Justine and Caroline outside the velvet room, tell them you need help and they will restore your HP and SP, you can also head to Mementos Entrance and go to the Airsoft shop or Takemi’s clinic • When you talk to Igor after Lavenza is revealed, MAKE SURE you choose “I refuse” to continue to the best ending | • Thorough Trickster Trophy acquired after original final boss • Magician and Fool Rank 10, maxed • Choose someone to spend Christmas eve with, we chose Kawakami because we wanted to eat Christmas cake with a Christmas cake • Skips to 12/31 afterwards |
