Not too much to say about June, later in the game you can choose to make an eternal lockpick, but you need 10 of one material and 20 of another, instead, you can just buy the recycling items each week to make many lockpicks at once, you get the same maximum dexterity increase regardless of if you make 3 or 9 lockpicks.
How do you make 9 lockpicks at once? You read a crafting improvement book and you buy the lockpick materials each week.
This way, you can make about 50+ lockpicks within the next few months, more than enough for all dungeons as well as any locked treasures you find in Mementos. Maybe make a few “treasure trap” crafting items, they’re useful for finding treasure demons in palaces or Mementos.
You start the Faith arcana persona now, but the lowest persona whose arcana is Faith is level 21, and we were level 20 at this point in the game before Kaneshiro’s Palace. If you want, you can fuse one early if your level is high enough, but don’t worry if you can’t, we don’t.
Make certain that when you finish Kaneshiro’s Palace you have over 100k yen, you will need to spend it to start a new confidant soon on July 2, but you will get it back (but that’s maybe another month later). It’s difficult to make money outside of palaces, so try to hold up enemies in the palace and collect treasures.
You can respawn enemies by changing the zone you’re in, in a palace. Or you can grind in Mementos on the day we tell you to go in if you prefer weaker enemies.
Otherwise, it’s all about optimization. Kawakami has one of the best benefits in the game where she grants you a lot of time to do activities (you can “skip” class during certain days, and you can get a massage in the evening), so she is prioritized at the expense of other confidants.
The fortuneteller, Chihaya, is another important social link in July who has extremely useful benefits, so make certain you have 100k yen or close to that by the end of June’s palace! You will also need to use a 5k costing service each week, so if you really want to be set, grind enemies in the palace or Mementos until you have over a million. Otherwise, 100k’s enough.
When working at a part-time job, you may be given random questions to answer, doing that will grant you bonus points to the social stat you’re raising. You can save then reload until you get the right answer, but you don’t have to get the correct answer if you don’t want to, we maxed social stats really early in our playthrough using our schedule.
