The original game, Fairy Fencer F: Advent Force, is a Japanese role-playing video game that follows the story of Fang, a carefree young man who becomes a Fencer, a warrior who can wield the power of ancient weapons called Furies, after he pulls a sword from a stone. Fang must find the other Fencers and their Furies in order to revive the Goddess and defeat the evil god, who threatens to destroy the world.

Along the way, Fang meets other characters, including his childhood friend Tiara, and they all must face various challenges and battles against both the evil god’s minions and other Fencers who have their own agendas. The game features turn-based combat and a unique system where players can customize their character’s abilities by equipping different Furies.

The story is filled with humor, drama, and memorable characters, and also explores themes such as friendship, betrayal, and the consequences of one’s actions.

The sequel, Fairy Fencer F: Refrain Chord, is looking very interesting from the trailer. The main difference is that it looks like more of an SRPG rather than a traditional JRPG. According to the publisher and trailer, there will be a completely new story with several distinct routes.
