Fallout London – All Routes, Endings and Factions Guide (Spoiler-Free!)
We have a guide on how to join ALL factions and unlock ALL endings in Fallout: London. This is spoiler-free, we will only mention the names of the factions themselves without revealing any plotlines or hidden characters.
Note that Fallout: London’s ending is similar to modern Fallout endings, in the sense that the ending is made up of multiple decisions put together in a slideshow.
How to join the Three Main Story Factions – Angel, Camelot, Fifth Column
The main story is common to all routes up to a certain point. You need to progress the main questline far enough before you’re able to join any of the three factions.
It may be possible to join them earlier, but if you use this method you’ll get quest markers and missions unlocked automatically. You can only join 1 faction on your playthrough! You can talk to them all briefly before making a decision but progressing 1-2 of their quests will lock you out of other factions.
To join a faction, keep progressing the main story quests and get to the War Games main mission.
Joining Fifth Column
You’ll go to outside where the tournament is. Talk to Guido outside, he is one of the representatives of the 5th Column faction. You’ll need to make him leave, preferably non-violently.
Either way just talk to him first and you’ll automatically unlock 5th Column: Back to Black which is a quest that has a marker to get to the 5th Column headquarters and lets you join them. If you join and progress this quest, you’ll get locked out of the other factions!
Joining Camelot
Keep progressing the War Games mission slightly. Enter the tournament grounds and to your left you’ll find a few Camelot knights.
Talk to Iseult, just ask her “Can I join?” in one of the dialog options and you’ll get the quest Camelot: Sword in Hand, which is a quest marker that leads to the Camelot headquarters. If you join and progress this quest, you’ll get locked out of the other factions!
Joining Angel
To join the Angel faction, just keep progressing the questline past the War Games mission and keep progressing through the quests you unlock.
Do the main Angel quest Nature Adores A Crab and when you’re finishing the quest you’ll receive another phone call outside. Answering this call locks you into the Angel faction and locks you out of the other factions!
You’ll get a warning message any time you’re about to join a faction.

Minor Factions
There are many minor factions that do not affect the main questline but still have scenes in the ending. They don’t always have a long questline, sometimes they’ll only have a few quests. I recommend progressing the main story to the Hear, Ye quest, it unlocks a lot of markers around the entire map that leads to most cities and most small faction leaders.
You can usually join a major faction and it won’t conflict with a minor faction during gameplay. The ending for these minor factions can change in the ending itself depending on if their ideology agrees with the big ending you got. For instance, ask yourself “Would the Pistols agree with Angel, 5th Column, or Camelot in the ending?” and do that for all minor factions.
These minor factions that have small endings include: Vagabonds, Thameshaven, Roundels, Tommies, Miller’s Men, Pistols, Isle of Dogs, and Croydon.
Companion Endings & Where to Recruit Companions
If you recruit and do a companion’s quest you will get their scenes in the ending.
To unlock their companion quest I found it best to use them and have them around when you’re making decisions, if they like your decisions then you’ll see a message saying they liked that decision. Mountbatten is hilarious, if you aren’t wearing clothes and go somewhere his approval goes down significantly, so watch out.
Everyone can be recruited on any faction route except John Smith – he’s only available on the 5th Column route.
Recruitable companions include: Archie, Kiera, John Smith, Churchill, Mad Jack, and Mountbatten
Archie – Recruited from main questline
Kiera – Recruited from main questline in the Bank of London. Go to the deepest part of the vault.
John Smith – Recruited from 5th Column faction questline. I don’t believe it’s possible to get him on other faction routes.
Churchill – Prilladog Food Factory
Mad Jack – Found in Pilgrim
Mountbatten – In front of Hackney entrance, save him.
