These guides take a significant amount of time and effort to make, and anything that can be given is extremely appreciated.

Note that many of these illustrations are extremely missable. Also, illustrations aren’t necessarily collected in order, so scroll through the entire list as you progress the game. The Final Chapter is basically Act 9 but they stopped numbering it at that point. The illustrations are usually in treasure chests unless otherwise stated.

Illustration 1: Automatic from beginning the game.

Illustration 2: In Act 7 when you crash land, take the north fork in the jungle to go into a waterfall cave.

Illustration 3: After Act 3, return to Berg’s ice cream kitchen dungeon (the cat chef), it’s in the boss room but you have to return, you can’t get it during the boss fight.

Illustration 4: After Act 4 return to the haunted mansion dungeon entrance, there’s a chest with the illustration.

Illustration 5: In Act 8 when you go to Rosenqueen Land, it’s in a chest in the Etoile statue dungeon.

Illustration 6: In the beginning of Act 3 in Kururu’s room. Extremely missable!

Illustration 7: In Blue Cat’s city there’s a park where you can walk up stairs to a painter. You can talk to him earlier (talk to him once or twice to be safe), but in Act 8 talk to him again and he’ll give you the illustration.

Illustration 8: Act 5, in Etoile House’s basement dungeon.

Illustration 9: Eringa (Mushroom Dungeon) in the Eringa/Mushroom Town. After you get full access to the airship in Act 8. To get this location to appear on the map when choosing flying destinations talk to NPCs in towns, they’ll give out new locations to travel to. An NPC in Orange or Oasis can reveal the location of Eringa Town.

Illustration 10: Act 8 Ice Cave

Illustration 11: Final Chapter, Akurjo Castle Kitchen (final dungeon, looks like the Haunted Mansion from earlier in the game)

Illustration 12: Final Chapter, Akurjo Castle Kitchen (final dungeon, looks like the Haunted Mansion from earlier in the game)

Illustration 13: Final Chapter, Lan-Lan’s room in Akurjo Castle (final dungeon)

Illustration 14: Final Chapter, Fon-Fon’s room in Akurjo Castle (final dungeon)

Illustration 15: Final Chapter, Nyan-Nyan’s room in Akurjo Castle (final dungeon)

Illustration 16: Act 6, Beauty Castle (Marjoly’s Castle)

Illustration 17: Final Chapter, Lan-Lan’s room in Akurjo Castle (final dungeon)

Illustration 18: Act 6, Crowdia’s Room in Beauty Castle (Marjoly’s Castle) (Check drawers)

Illustration 19: Act 6, Myao’s Room in Beauty Castle (Marjoly’s Castle) (Check drawers)

Illustration 20: In Act 8 there’s an ancient civilization area you go through, but in the northwest area there’s a locked door with a password you cannot access. In the Final Chapter, right before the final boss there’s a cutscene that reveals the password. As soon as you see that cutscene, run out of the final dungeon all the way back to the ancient civilization dungeon and input the password to get this. This is extremely missable and inconvenient but it’s the only way to do it. If you wait until you beat the final boss you still can play the game, BUT Cello will have left your party and you cannot put in the password to get the illustration.

If you’d rather watch us play the game in video form, please see our walkthroughs below.
