Rhapsody II Spotlight Trailer Released (Rhapsody: Marl Kingdom Chronicles)
The trailer for Rhapsody II: Ballad of the Little Princess has been released by NIS America:
Rhapsody: Marl Kingdom Chronicles will release on the Nintendo Switch, PS5 and PC on August 29, 2023 in North America, September 1, 2023 in Europe, and September 8, 2023 in Oceania).
This collection will contain the second and third games of the Rhapsody (Marl Kingdom) series. These second and third games were originally released in 1999 and 2000 in Japan only, so for the first time in decades they’re being localized for the West,
The PC versions are sold separately.
Rhapsody II: Ballad of the Little Princess follows Kururu, the daughter of Cornet from the original Rhapsody game. The gameplay is a normal turn-based JRPG, but with an emphasis on songs. It’s a JRPG series that’s also a fully-fledged musical and the songs in the original Rhapsody were extremely catchy and light-hearted.
The games will have an English dub, but the songs will be in Japanese with English subtitles.
