Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtueless – Demonic Intelligence Academy Trailer Released
A Demonic Intelligence Academy trailer has been released for Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtueless below.
Demonic Intelligence returns from Disgaea 6 with a few modifications. Demonic Intelligence allows the player to configure AI to control the player’s characters such as which enemies to target and which skills to use such as attacking, healing or defending. It’s autobattling but you can program how you want your AI to behave.
A new resource called Poltergas is used when letting the AI control the player’s characters each turn, which is acquired from clearing stages and Item Worlds, so the player is now limited by how much they can use the autobattle unlike the previous game. It would be beneficial to use Demonic Intelligence effectively so that the battles are optimized and less Poltergas is used.
There’s some great voice acting in the trailer as well, I really liked how the character is thinking while programming in the Demonic Intelligence.

New features include Jumbification, allowing you to grow your playable characters to dominate the battles. You can also build up your attack with Hell Mode to increase your attack power.
Disgaea 7 is confirmed to have 45 character classes and has new features including Item Reincarnation, Online Ranked Battles, as well as revamped Demonic Intelligence.

Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtueless will be released on October 3, 2023 in North America for the Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, and PC. (October 6 in Europe and October 13 in Oceania.)
The game will also have English and Japanese audio languages, as well as English, French, and Japanese text languages.
